Self-aware

Sometimes it’s only when you talk about something out loud that you realise that it’s the truth, you really do mean it. Sometimes that realisation really does change everything.

Meanwhile, today I sent a text to a friend of mine – a cry for help, if you will, and the reply I recieved was just exactly what I needed at that point in time.

Later, I spent the evening in another friend’s room with Ugly Betty and tea and cake, and lots of girly chatter about everything from perfume to babies.

And I met and got talking today to at least three people about whom I definitely wish to know more.

Mood? Decidedly hopeful. Determinedly so.

Finding the first friend is the hardest – it tends to spiral from there as you gain confidence and meet people through each other. In the meantime, say yes 🙂

  2. You’re really making me want to go back to Uni and do that first year all over again! I loved sitting in a neighbours room, watching the tv and eating all manner of junk food because its moments like that where everything seems as it should be :o)

Did you get a new iPod in the end?

  3. Rollercoaster, innit.

You’re on the ride, you might as well open your eyes…

    :oD

If you’re interested, I have a wordpress thingermerjigger… “mortalguiltybeautiful” being the pretentious URL thing… enjoy…

Also, speaking of enjoyment, glory in the name “Sean Biggerstaff” and the fact that this wonderfully named specimen of humanity is the sexiest Gryffindor Quidditch Captain ever (Oliver Wood in the 1st and 2nd films) and he is delightfully wonderful, it has been agreed.

    He is a bit 🙂

Rosie and I were trying to decide whether Cedric Diggory looked more like Sam or like Ross.

    Tough one.

Meanwhile we’re still loving The Craig. (cannot WAIT for Quantum Of Solace).
